Your Portrait Experience

Commissioning a portrait of your pet should feel just as special as the finished painting itself.

From our first conversation to the day your portrait arrives, I'll guide you through every step of the process. We'll talk about your pet's personality, the photos you're considering, the mood you want the painting to capture, and where you plan to display it. Together, we'll create a portrait that celebrates the love and joy your pet brings into your life.

Every portrait is unique, so rather than offering one-size-fits-all pricing, I prepare three personalized options based on your goals and budget. There's never any obligation—our first conversation is simply a chance to explore the possibilities and answer your questions.

If you're ready to begin, I'd love to hear your story and meet your pet.

About My Pastel Portraits

I create my portraits in soft pastel, a centuries-old fine art medium treasured for its luminous color, rich texture, and remarkable permanence.

When properly protected behind glass, pastel is one of the most archival art mediums available. It won't crack, darken, or yellow over time. Curious? Learn more about pastel here.

Pastel paintings are typically framed with a mat or spacers to keep the painting surface away from the glass. I provide detailed framing instructions if you choose to have your portrait framed locally, or I can professionally frame it in my studio so it arrives ready to hang.
